Heather Butler

BA Fine Arts/Minor Music - Shippensburg University, Shippensburg, PA

Heather joined the Walk in Art Center team in 2021 and currently serves as the Education Director, Rental Manager, and Bookkeeper among various other smaller positions.

She obtained a BA in Fine Arts with a minor in music from Shippensburg University in 2007. Her passion for art led her to create her own photography business and later a paint and sip business which she still has up and running as side businesses.

Heather is a member of the WIAC Artist Collective and occupies Studio 308 in Studio Row on the 3rd floor of the building. She also teaches a variety of classes in our 1st floor Art Education Center throughout the month.

Her experience with other non-profits including St. Peter's UCC in Pine Grove, PA, Collective Arts League in Pine Grove, PA, and the Arts Barn in Orwigsburg, PA have given Heather insight into the inner workings of non-profits and have equipped her to be a flexible team member who can adapt and fill in wherever she is needed.
