Sept. 10, 6-9pm--Phyllis Gallagher
Phyllis specializes in collage, photography, & other media. Let your inner voice cry out by layering images, objects and type. Her expressive approach to mixed media invites you to see everyday scraps in a whole new light. You'll explore the art of layering, juxtaposition, and intuitive composition as you build captivating images from paper, found materials, and personal ephemera. Beginner, or seasoned maker, Phyllis guides you through creative exercises that spark experimentation and encourage storytelling through texture, color and form. Expect laughter, surprises, and fresh perspective on the art of assemblage-every torn edge and thoughtful layer becomes part of a visual narrative uniquely your own.

Heather is the resident “Paint and Sip” artist at the WIAC. Come try watercolors & learn some new painting tricks.
 
Sept. 24, 5-8pm-Kelly Mueller
Kelly is wild for acrylic and oil painting, clay, and more. Investigate “gelli printing” and share Kelly’s energy! Beloved artist and former Schuylkill Haven teacher of 21 years, Kelly Mueller will guide through the playful process of gelli printing. Known for her whimsical style, paintings brimming with expressive faces and vibrant colors, and her one-of-a-kind clay sculptures, Kelly brings her unique spirit to this hands-on workshop. You'll have a playful evening and leave with plenty of inspiration!
