Introduction to Double Knitting

Learn how to make reversible knitted trivets. In this class you will learn how to create a ribbed cast-on using two colors, basic double knitting techniques and how to cast-off in double knitting.  Detailed instructions for felted the finished project are provided and discussed.   Participants should be comfortable with basic knitting techniques including casting on/off, knitting and purling.  Some experience with color work is helpful but not required.  

Participants will need:

Size 6 or 7 needles (straight or circular are fine)

2 skeins of worsted weight 100% wool yarn in contrasting colors
