Classes, workshops and summer art camps are offered for all ages and levels year round in the WIAC’s state of the art Art Education Center.

Since 2016, the WIAC has been the regional partner the Folk Art Alliance for Berks, Schuylkill, and Lancaster Counties through the PA Council on the Arts.

The WIAC’s calendar offers original art vendor shows throughout the year, dinner theatre & musical cabaret performances, First Friday open houses and coffee house music events, an annual fundraiser, free outdoor concerts in the Performance Pavilion, festivals & faires, and multiple art-centered events for children and adults each month.

It offers several artists community groups including The Schuylkill Shutter Society, Teen Art Creative, Fiber Arts Guild, and Clay Haven Pottery Group.  The WIAC also outreaches into the community via group tours, artist- in-residence programs, school field trips, and the Art4U program that collaborates with county school districts & area businesses to bring art to the community.

The WIAC also regularly partners with other arts and non-profit organizations in the area including the Anthracite Philharmonic, Schuylkill Choral Society and the Allied Artists of Schuylkill County. The Main Gallery, the WIAC Folk Art Gallery, and Studio Row Gallery all offer inspiring exhibition schedules throughout the year featuring local, regional and national artists.
